What We're Looking For

The Academics Record Coordinator provides critical team resources by sharing the responsibility for academic records functions which includes the evaluation of transfer credit and maintenance of degree audits.

A bachelor's degree and one year of relevant work experience are required. Four years of experience are preferred.

Additional education or experience will be considered in lieu of one another.

A hybrid work arrangement will be considered on a case-by-case basis.

Systems/Software we use:
  • Banner (Ellucian) - Student Information System (SIS)
  • uAchieve (CollegeSource) - degree audits
  • TES & Transferology (CollegeSource) - transfer equivalencies
  • CIM & CAT (Courseleaf) - curriculum management and catalog
  • OnBase (Hyland) - document management and workflows
  • Crystal Reports (SAP) - reporting from Banner and related database sources

Additional notes:
  • Experience with these programs or similar is very helpful but not required.
  • We will provide training as needed based on your background/experience.
  • This is not a programming role and does not use formal programming languages, but it does rely on similar critical thinking skills.

Applicants must currently be authorized to work in the United States on a Full-Time basis.

What You Will Do
  • Add transfer credit to each student's academic record in accordance with transfer credit policy. Respond to student and advisor questions related to transfer credit.
  • Apply course substitutions and other requirement modifications to a student's degree audit as approved by their dean's office.
  • Make modifications to transfer course equivalencies and degree audits based on approvals in the ECR (Equivalent Course Request) and CIM (Curriculum Inventory Management) systems.
  • Other duties as assigned, which may include grade processing, special projects, solving problems related to students' academic records, and assisting constituents with questions via email or phone.

Additionally, you will:
  • Perform all other duties as assigned to support Baylor's mission.
  • Comply with University policies and FERPA.
  • Maintain regular and punctual attendance.
